Debra Turner
Debra joined Drake Exteriors part-time in 2012, transitioning to a full-time role in 2015 after a successful 26-year career as a licensed insurance agent, specializing in sales and agency accounting. At Drake, she has spearheaded the digital transformation of the team’s accounting processes, establishing comprehensive policies and procedures for accounts payable and receivable, vendor credentialing, and state General Contractor license processing and renewals.
Her current responsibilities include contract review, ensuring vendor compliance, subcontractor credentialing, managing insurance certificates and audits, setting up credit accounts, and handling accounts payable and receivable. Additionally, she supports DGC’s project managers with essential logistics such as arranging dumpsters, storage containers, and managing change orders. She meticulously maintains job costs, oversees job closeout procedures, warranties, and coordinate prevailing wage requirements.
Outside of work, she enjoys life on her family farm in Statham with her husband of 37 years, who is now retired. Together, they cherish their three wonderful children and two incredibly sweet grandchildren.
